Ledyard Farms is located in the beautiful Finger Lake region of New York State on the east side of Cayuga Lake one half hour north of Ithaca. This area has beautiful wineries, several state parks with beautiful hiking trails, easy access to the Finger Lakes, some of the most productive farm land in the nation with many large and productive dairy farm.

Ledyard Farms is an active farm with herd of top quality Scottish Highland Cattle as well as some of the finest registered Morgan Horses with proven brood mares, show horses and several young show prospects romping in the paddocks. The Highlands and Morgan's are complimented by a herd of multicolored Jacobs sheep and some fancy feathered exotic chickens. Of course no farm would be complete without the requisite Border Collies to assist in livestock control.

The farms have been in the Haines family for several generations, from the mid 19th Century and have today been restored and upgraded to provide creature comfort for both two and four legged occupants. The 1820's house has been carefully restored and furnished to reflect its history with many family heirlooms. The out buildings provide a comfort zone for the more than forty Highland show cattle with run in facilities and automatic waters throughout. The two dozen Morgan horses have their own facilities which include a new state of the art stable as well as a large indoor riding/training arena with a large office/viewing room, wash racks, tack rooms, foaling stalls all adjacent to wooden fenced paddocks.
